The target for deburring includes precision machined parts such as automotive components and mobile phones, as well as precision molded parts. In water that has sufficiently removed dissolved air, powerful ultrasound is irradiated to generate countless micro vacuum nuclei (cavities) in a spherical nebula shape. When these vacuum nuclei are created and disappear, they generate positive and negative shock forces, removing burrs while also cleaning. This technology is patented. Ultrasound operates at a fundamental frequency of 20 kHz or 25 kHz, simultaneously oscillating various frequencies of ultrasound ranging from 50 kHz to 275 kHz, creating simultaneous multiplex waves. The models are based on two types: StarBaby-DB-1200 and StarBaby-DB-2400. The liquid used can be water, pure water, water-soluble detergents, rust inhibitors, coolant liquids, machining oils, hydrocarbon solvents, and various other liquids. The models have evolved to accommodate various deburring needs in small and medium-sized enterprises. There are over 30 different models available. Sales are focused primarily in Japan and various locations in Asia. This compact deburring machine for small and medium-sized enterprises sells about 10 units per month. There are also examples of a single company using 10 units as inter-process deburring machines.
