This monochrome USB camera is UVC-compliant, meaning there is no need to install special camera drivers on the host PC. The UVC drivers for Windows and Linux OS are compatible with this camera, and it is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 host ports. The M12 USB camera is ideal for applications that require flexibility in lens selection. The "See3CAM_CU51" is also compatible with USB Video Class (UVC) version 1.0, and all necessary firmware is built-in.
