The first domestic industry product with international explosion-proof certification, also obtained explosion-proof testing standards from Europe and China.
New Release of Explosion-Proof LED Lighting (LZWA Series) Seiwa Electric Co., Ltd. is launching the explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures (LZWA series) as a new lineup in the <STARLED★S> series, which will be the first internationally certified explosion-proof product in the domestic industry for base lighting fixtures. The explosion-proof LED lighting fixtures (LZWA series) aim for a compact and lightweight design while ensuring the same illuminance and light distribution as conventional fluorescent fixtures (HF fluorescent 45W x 2 lamps). With dimensions of less than 30 cm in both width and height, and a weight of only 5 kg, this design reduces the burden of installation work and improves safety due to the smaller contact area. As for explosion-proof standards, it has obtained international explosion-proof certification IECEx (IEC60079-0, -1), as well as European explosion-proof certification ATEX (LZWA12041). Models with Chinese explosion-proof certification NEPSI (LZWA14041-CA) are also included in the lineup, achieving numerous international standards (*). * This product is sold only for overseas markets. Domestic explosion-proof certification has not been obtained.

basic information
<Features> 1. Obtained various international standards related to explosion protection. Compatible with hydrogen areas. Achieved international explosion-proof certification IECEx (IEC60079-0, -1), European explosion-proof certification ATEX, and Chinese explosion-proof certification NEPSI. Taiwanese explosion-proof certification TS is also planned for future acquisition. It can be used in explosion-proof areas of Zone 1 and 2, dust explosion-proof areas of Zone 21 and 22, as well as hydrogen areas generated in chemical plant processes, ensuring safe use in various explosion-proof environments. 2. Usable in high-temperature environments up to +55°C! With a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, it can be installed in a broad range of low to high-temperature areas. 3. Can be installed in narrow spaces. With a small installation footprint, it does not require a specific installation location. It can be installed in complex equipment areas. Additionally, the irradiation angle can be adjusted ±70 degrees, reducing the need for rework after installation. 4. Reduces the burden of installation work. Weighing only 5 kg, it is lighter than conventional equipment, improving safety and workability during installation. 5. Safe even in gusts and typhoons. The compact housing and small pressure-bearing area reduce wind pressure load, minimizing the impact of gusts and typhoons, eliminating concerns about equipment deformation.

Company information
Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various business fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started the electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market.
