At Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, we felt that quantitative performance information was necessary to determine the presence or absence of issues in terms of performance and quality during the core network update at the Takasago factory in November 2015. Additionally, in the event of a problem, it was essential to review past performance information for rapid isolation of the cause of the failure. Therefore, we considered existing SNMP-based products such as MRTG and others, but faced challenges such as poor system operability and coarse data collection granularity, which hindered accurate analysis.
