At our company, by innovating the etching method, we have achieved high contrast coloring applied only to the ferrite phase of duplex stainless steel, enabling the measurement of ferrite content through image analysis. This method can be completed in a shorter time compared to the point counting method for measuring ferrite content, and it eliminates human error, reducing variability.
