Low insertion torque and no degradation of synthetic resin due to friction heat—tapping screws for synthetic resin!
Crown Precision Industry's "Plax" is a tapping screw made from low carbon steel (12C) that has undergone gas carburizing and quenching. This product has a low screwing torque due to the reduced contact resistance in the intermittent sections, which consist of high and low thread peaks, during the female thread forming process. The outer diameter of the high thread peaks in the intermittent sections is slightly larger than that of the regular thread section, preventing degradation of synthetic resin due to reduced contact surface area and frictional heat. 【Features】 ■ Low screwing torque ■ Minimal frictional heat, preventing female thread breakage ■ Does not loosen under vibration or impact ■ Reusable *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data available for download.
