Newly developed high molecular cationic surfactant

This is a newly developed polymer cationic surfactant from Nitto Bo Medical. It can be customized according to usage applications, including changes to the HLB value.

It is a polymer cationic surfactant that has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups within the molecule and becomes a cation when dissociated in water. By forming micelles, vesicles, and lamellar structures, it works to uniformly mix polar and non-polar substances, and it also has the effect of reducing surface tension. As a cationic surfactant, it possesses properties such as adsorptiveness, flexibility, antistatic properties, and bactericidal activity. Compared to low molecular weight surfactants, as a polymer surfactant, it features emulsifying power, stable emulsion formation, superior dispersibility and aggregation, and low toxicity.
