Applied from the early stages of development! Supports the development, design, and testing of steering, chassis control systems, and suspension.
Our company provides solutions for the development of vehicle dynamics, focusing on safety and ride comfort. CarMaker, TruckMaker, and MotorcycleMaker are open and extensible platforms equipped with sophisticated interfaces that enable rapid validation and automation of testing. Nonlinear vehicle and system models, such as multi-body suspension, Pfeffer steering models, and various tire models, can also be easily implemented. Additionally, the powerful driver model "IPGDriver" features self-learning capabilities, allowing for driving that adapts to various scenarios. It accurately and reliably replicates any task performed by real test drivers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Various tools are being developed to realize model-based development. In automotive development, verification and testing using prototype vehicles are significantly constrained by time and cost, and although the importance of verification is increasing with the complexity of vehicle systems, it is difficult to rely solely on verification environments at the vehicle level. IPG Automotive provides a simulation environment for one vehicle, called the "Virtual Test Driving" platform, which can be utilized by all engineers involved in vehicle development from the early stages of the development process. Our company was established in 1984 as a spin-off from Karlsruhe University (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). The mission established at the time of founding, to balance vehicle simulation and real-time computation, continues to this day, emphasizing the coupling of driver models and environment models, and is designed based on maneuver testing rooted in driver operation. Our platform is equipped with sensor models that are essential for recent ADAS/AD development, enabling virtual closed-loop verification that includes the vehicle, environment (roads and traffic flow), and driver.
