The new PSK series, housed in a compact capsule-type board mount package with industry-standard pinout, offers models with continuous outputs of 6, 10, 15, and 20W. The robust capsule-type module, measuring a compact 2 x 1 x 0.659 inches (50.8 x 25.4 x 16.74 mm), is ideal for low-power ITE, consumer electronics, and industrial control applications where space on the board is limited and environmental performance is required.

The PSK-6B, PSK-10B, PSK-15B, and PSK-20B series all have an insulation withstand voltage of 4 kVac, and power consumption is below 100mW when unloaded. The operating temperature range at full load is -25°C to +50°C, and it decreases to +70°C at 50% load. The wide universal input voltage range of 85 to 264VAC allows for a single output voltage of either 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, or 48VDC, depending on the series. All models not only have UL/cUL and TUV 60950-1 safety certifications but also come standard with short circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection, complying with EN 55032 Class B and FCC Class B radiation regulations. The modules, ranging from 6W to 20W, have a minimum mean time between failures (MTBF) of 300,000 hours at an ambient temperature of 25°C and 115VAC (calculated using MIL-HDBK-217F).
