Silicon carbide (SiC) heat exchangers are ideal heat exchangers manufactured by BART for heating, cooling, and condensing corrosive fluids in industries such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals. They are used for acids, alkalis, halides, saline solutions, and organic compounds. SiC is an impermeable material with complete resistance to corrosion, does not react with corrosive fluids due to the absence of free silicon, and is a very hard material with a density of over 98%.
