It features a steep edge transition (less than 0.5% of the laser wavelength) at a specific wavelength, allowing it to transmit longer wavelengths while reflecting shorter wavelengths, enabling spectral separation. In particular, in Raman spectroscopy, it is necessary to separate Rayleigh scattered light (laser wavelength) from weak Raman scattered light, and the steep edge transition and high blocking performance make it easy to measure Raman spectra.
