Notice of Regular Shutter Inspection

The regular reporting system for fire prevention equipment has changed, and inspections and reports have become mandatory.

At Omata Shutter Industry Co., Ltd., we conduct regular inspections of shutters. As a measure to prevent incidents where fire doors, which are supposed to close automatically during a fire, do not operate correctly, it has become necessary to conduct regular inspections by fire protection equipment inspectors through the introduction of new inspection standards and a review of the inspection targets. Inspections of fire protection equipment and fire extinguishing equipment are both required under the Fire Service Act. If fire doors, fire shutters, and fire dampers, which block smoke and flames, are not adequately maintained through regular inspections, they may not function effectively during a fire.
