This is a shock force measuring device for industrial collaborative robot drive arms, compliant with ISO/TS 15066 and TS B 0033 standards.
Collaborative robots are robots that work alongside humans without the need for barriers. Therefore, they inherently carry the risk of accidents due to potential contact with humans. In March 2018, the Central Labor Disaster Prevention Association published the "Functional Safety Utilization Practical Manual for Industrial Robot Systems," which states that manufacturers, system integrators, and users of collaborative robots have an obligation to conduct risk assessments and ensure that the maximum impact force complies with the ISO/TS15066 and TS B 0033 standards. The COBOSAFE series is ideal for verifying the safety of collaborative robots. It is a compact and lightweight measuring device that can measure impact forces during product development tests and pre-operation inspections of robots. Its performance is guaranteed by a calibration certificate issued by the manufacturer. Additionally, it comes with a storage case, making it convenient for storage and transportation. When measuring pressure, the optional pressure measurement system CoboSafe-Scan and the software CoboSafe-Vision are used. The pressure measurement film included with this system records the pressure distribution in shades of color, which is then read by a dedicated scanner and analyzed with the software.

Even if the display cannot be directly viewed, the operating mode is indicated by an LED integrated into the side of the main unit, allowing the user to check the status. 【CBSF-10~150】 CBSF-10~150 is a measuring device that incorporates springs specified for each body part, designed to measure transient and quasi-static contact. The values are displayed on the screen. Its compact size allows for measurements to be taken in more realistic settings. All models can be connected to a PC via a USB port and analyzed using the optional software "CoboSafe-Vision" for reporting and analysis.

The Presscale film reacts to pressure, and the degree of discoloration records the pressure distribution. The image of the recorded Presscale film is captured using the scanner and calibration sheet of Cobosafe - Scan and is automatically analyzed in the CoboSafe - Vision app.

CoboSafe-Vision evaluation software visualizes the force curves and pressure images determined by the CoboSafe force-pressure measurement system. It calculates and determines transient and quasi-static values of force and pressure. The results of force-pressure measurements using the CoboSafe device can be easily evaluated with the Windows-based evaluation software CoboSafe-Vision, which generates detailed measurement reports including curve diagrams. Pressure images can be evaluated not only using filters but also through 2D and 3D displays. Individual logs and output as CSV files are also provided.
