Proposing hygiene management tools for food defense measures to improve quality.

We will introduce an example of improvement in the FA (Factory Automation) field proposed by Patlite. There were no guidelines for opening and closing doors, which sometimes led to them being left open during the transportation of goods or when multiple people were passing through. Since foreign object contamination can be a fatal incident for food factories, we implemented the layered information display light "LA6" as a countermeasure. By enabling passersby and those around to unconsciously recognize the opening and closing of the door, we became able to respond quickly to situations such as forgetting to close the door or leaving a gap. [Case Study] ■ Improvement Issues - The duration of the door being open was left to the awareness of passersby. - Without guidelines, it was difficult to enforce any rules created. - Foreign object contamination poses a critical risk. ■ Proposal - Easily visualize the door opening and closing time with "LA6." - Management of the time that was previously left to others has become straightforward. - With the LA6, it is easy to notice and respond immediately if the door is left ajar, forgotten to be closed, or if something is caught in it. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/
