The "SZ method" involves pulling an SZ liner into the sewer pipe using a manhole, expanding and heating the liner with air and steam to form a standalone pipe within the existing pipe. Even though SZ pipes are thin, they possess standalone pipe strength equivalent to or greater than that of rigid PVC pipes used for sewage.
