basic information
The winery in Yoichi, Hokkaido, which became famous through NHK's morning drama "Massan," is known for its grape cultivation. However, I have heard that once the grapes begin to bear fruit, about 30% of the harvest is affected by crow damage. Therefore, after starting to use this tape (actually purchased 100m), the damage from crows to the grapes has drastically decreased. It is said that the harvest of "walnuts," which were cultivated together, has tripled. Key points for usage: Cut the 6m tape into pieces of about 50cm and hang them in various places to sway in the wind. Crows tend to avoid the surrounding area. This tape is also used in the grounds of Sapporo's important cultural property "Sapporo Clock Tower Crow Countermeasures" (video on YouTube) and around the Hakodate Ropeway. Effective period: 3 to 6 months. It is said that crows have eyes capable of distinguishing ultraviolet light and possess five times the visual acuity of humans. Because of this, they are sensitive to the "luminescence" emitted from ink and dislike the wavelengths of that light. The repellent effect (not approaching) has been recognized for crows, as well as birds of prey like hawks and kites, or other birds with good eyesight.

Success in strawberry cultivation in a greenhouse using this method!! When I saw the photos that were sent, I felt that the hanging location was a bit too high, but the owner said, "This keeps them (crows) completely away," and was very happy. Tochigi Prefecture: Mr. Ishiwatari.

Success in measures against crows gathering around the large tree in the residential area. Especially in the evening, many crows would hide in the trees or perch on the branches, making loud cries and causing a disturbance. Additionally, since the trees were located in front of the houses, it was quite a problem. After hanging tape in the trees, as shown in the photo, the number of crows quickly decreased, and we were pleased with the success.

Measures against crows staying on the balcony Crows that perch on the balcony wall and look into the room to observe what's happening inside. The countermeasure taken was to stick a sticker from inside the room and to hang tape from the sliding door outside to make it sway. With these two methods, they completely stopped coming.
Company information
After 30 years of researching starfish, an underutilized resource, we discovered that the extract (marine saponin) obtained through our unique biotechnology contains various benefits that can help improve our daily lives. Utilizing this extract, we have developed several products to date. ★ The first product we tackled was a deodorizer, followed by a repellent to keep crows away. Currently, products such as stickers and tapes are sold under the name "SARABA Karasu-kun" through retail and online shops. ★ We also commercialized the world's first crow-repellent paint, "Bird Colenger." This product is used in places like fish processing plants and precision machinery factories that suffer from bird strikes and droppings, effectively providing a repellent effect. ★ In 2023, we completed a solid soap called "SAVON." Its significant features include alleviating skin itching and mold, thanks to the benefits of marine saponin. This soap not only washes away dirt but also improves skin condition, allowing us to enter the industry.
