[FA Site Improvement Case] Achieving a Visible Factory through the Automation of Handwritten Daily Reports

We will introduce a case study of improvements in the FA (Factory Automation) site proposed by Patlite. The manufacturing site faced issues where handwritten equipment operation records led to omissions in maintenance records during short stops at night. This resulted in significant losses due to the time and effort required to identify lots during the outflow of defective products. In response, we proposed the wireless data communication system "AirGRID WD type." With automatic recording, omissions and gaps in information have been eliminated, leading to a reduction in losses. 【Case Study】 ■ Before Implementation - Handwritten equipment operation records led to omissions in maintenance records during short stops at night. - Identifying lots during the outflow of defective products took time and effort, resulting in significant losses. ■ After Implementation - Automatic recording eliminated omissions and gaps in information, reducing losses. - Additionally, trends from more frequent short stops became visible, allowing for the prevention of major stops in advance. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
