We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. In a work environment where the amount of sand in the hopper is checked visually, there are risks associated with the confirmation process, and there are instances where sand may overflow. We proposed the "LA6 type" layered information display light. The "LA6 type" can express the amount of sand in terms of layers and colors freely when combined with sensors. In case of overflow or other dangerous situations, it alerts users with a particularly noticeable lighting pattern, such as all lights on. Now, it has become possible to monitor overflow along with managing remaining quantities from the office.
