We would like to introduce a case study on the use of the structural analysis software 'ISCEF', which is suitable for civil engineering structures. The gatepost is the part that serves as the pillar for the gate and the superstructure. If the gatepost itself is damaged, it will become impossible to open and close the gate, leading to an inability to adjust the water level, which in the worst-case scenario could result in the collapse of the dam. Therefore, improvements in seismic resistance are required for this important related structure of the dam.
