Clamping nut (mechanical hydraulic type) made by Hilma, Germany
HILMA manufactured clamping nut
You can safely perform the work of fastening bolts and nuts. Large-sized bolts can be securely fixed with a hex wrench using a mechanical hydraulic system.
When fixing a large-sized "standard nut" to a bolt, it was necessary to use a "long handle" to tighten the nut with "great force." This required a wide space when tightening with the "long handle," and there was a risk of the handle coming off, which could lead to injuries for the operator or damage to the equipment. By using the HILMA company's clamping nut (mechanical hydraulic type), you can achieve "great tightening force" simply by tightening with a "hex wrench," as the built-in piston activates. Additionally, there is an optional tightening force checker that alerts you when the tightening force reaches its maximum by popping out a pin. Applications include fixing equipment, securing molds in press machines, holding workpieces during processing, and providing strong fastening in narrow spaces or places where hydraulic power cannot be used.
