Improvement of mist collection efficiency and working environment.
We will introduce a case study of the implementation of a mist collector. A non-ferrous metal company was troubled by the dispersion of oil mist generated when spraying release agents on the molds of hot forging presses, which posed health risks to workers, contaminated work clothes, and had adverse effects on the surrounding environment. To solve this problem, they introduced a mist collector. Additionally, instead of the conventional flat plate filter, we used our original cylindrical high-performance filter in the final stage. The mist collector captures oil mist in four stages. For details, please refer to the diagram displayed on the left. By implementing the mist collector, we were able to prevent the dispersion of oil mist generated when spraying release agents, thus protecting workers' health, reducing contamination of work clothes, and improving the working environment within the factory. It also contributed to improved recovery efficiency of the release agent and environmental enhancement outside the factory.
