Inspector Alert V2 is a Geiger counter sensitive to alpha, beta, and gamma radiation.
The manufacturer, International Medcom, is the company that first developed the well-known Geiger counter, Inspector, in Japan. It features three measurement modes: dose rate (μSv/h), count rate (CPS or CPM), and count value. Additionally, when the audio switch is turned ON, the lamp flashes and a beep sound is emitted each time radiation is detected. For measuring radiation from ores and assessing radiation contamination of objects, we particularly recommend the Inspector among the many Geiger counters available.
