  Capsule (inside the menthol tobacco filter) We imaged the menthol tobacco filter using X-ray CT and observed the collapse of the capsule inside the filter. The dynamic changes of the sample under pressure can be visualized in 3D.

  Food (Kaki no Tane) Kaki no Tane was imaged using X-ray CT to observe the cracking process. This observation during stress on food can be effectively utilized for the development of safety and texture, among other aspects.

  Observation under polarized light We captured images of a transparent plastic piece using our polarized imaging device. Stress changes due to photoelasticity can be observed in color.

  Industrial material (glass wool) A 2cm square glass wool specimen was imaged using X-ray CT. Pressure was applied and then released. The change in fiber arrangement was observed by comparing before and after the pressure was applied.
