The "pellet boiler" is a biomass boiler that aims to reduce waste emissions and lessen the environmental impact by pelletizing harvested pine trees. Raw pine logs are fed into a primary crusher via a chain conveyor. After primary crushing and secondary grinding, the material becomes wood powder, which is dried in a rotary dryer until the moisture content reaches around 10%.
