The Japanese ITES device "Chess P2" collects and analyzes the sound of automatic hammer strikes, allowing for the numerical display and recording of abnormalities in structures (such as delamination and voids). It displays the values of normal areas alongside the acquired data, and informs users of the results of relative comparisons between the reference values and impact results through lamp indicators and electronic sounds.
