Brazing and heat treatment processing of iron, copper-based metals, and stainless steel, which can also join dissimilar metals.
At Ruifang Industrial Co., Ltd., we perform "soldering and heat treatment processing of iron, copper-based metals, and stainless steel" using "continuous non-oxidizing furnaces" and "continuous hydrogen furnaces." Because hydrogen gas has an extremely strong reducing effect, it can remove the oxide film on the surface of the metals to be soldered with just a slight change in atmosphere. It powerfully reduces not only the O2 in the atmosphere but also the oxide scale of the processing agents. Additionally, hydrogen enters the metal and causes embrittlement, resulting in a hardened and brilliant finish. 【Types of processing that can be done with this equipment】 ■ Copper soldering of iron-based substrates ■ Phosphor bronze soldering of copper-based and iron-based substrates ■ Bronze soldering of copper-based and iron-based substrates ■ Silver soldering of copper-based substrates ■ Phosphor copper soldering of copper-based substrates ■ Bright annealing of iron and copper ■ Other soldering of iron-based and copper-based substrates ■ Nickel soldering of stainless steel substrates ■ Copper soldering of stainless steel substrates ■ Bronze soldering of stainless steel substrates ■ Other soldering of stainless steel substrates ■ Solution heat treatment of austenitic stainless steel *For more detailed information, please feel free to contact us.

basic information
**[Mechanism of Brazing]** 1. When brazing in a furnace, reducing gases or inert gases are used as the atmosphere gas inside the furnace. 2. When iron oxide is heated in DX gas, hydrogen and carbon monoxide react with iron oxide, resulting in a reduction reaction. Hydrogen and carbon monoxide take oxygen from iron oxide, turning into water and carbon dioxide, and iron oxide is reduced back to iron. 3. By performing heat treatment in a sufficiently reducing atmosphere, wettability improves, discoloration due to oxidation is prevented, and products with a shiny finish can be produced. *For more detailed information, please feel free to contact us.*

The mechanism of brazing When brazing in a furnace, reducing gases such as hydrogen gas and DX gas, as well as inert gases like nitrogen gas and argon gas, are used as the atmosphere gas inside the furnace. DX gas, also known as heat-generating reforming gas, is produced by reforming gases such as propane and butane.

The mechanism of brazing. By heat treating in a sufficient reducing atmosphere, not only can good wettability be achieved for excellent brazing and other processing, but it also prevents discoloration due to oxidation, resulting in products with a shiny finish.

Regarding brazing strength By determining the appropriate "filler material," "gap management," and "joint shape" for the base material to be brazed, it is possible to achieve a very strong bonding strength. When joining with a filler material that is softer than the base material and pulling as shown in the diagram, the lateral contraction of the filler is prevented by the hard base material, resulting in a force that pulls the filler outward. As a result, the filler becomes less prone to deformation, thereby increasing its strength.
