By using Bluetooth communication, it has become possible to measure wind speed and temperature wirelessly. Within the range of wireless communication (approximately 5 meters), measurements can be taken from a distance, such as from high places. In areas where wireless communication is restricted, measurements can be taken using cables, similar to a standard anemometer.
