We provide design and manufacturing support for a backlash-free reduction mechanism using a combination of pin gears and external trochoidal gears.
The involute gear mechanism achieves a backlash-free engagement mechanism that is difficult to realize by combining pin gears and external trochoidal gears. The design and manufacturing support software for pin gears and trochoidal gears performs high-precision coordinate calculations of trochoidal tooth profiles through shape modifications and an automatic tooth profile error calculation program based on simple input data. You can confirm the engagement of the created gears by rotating them on the design screen, and you can also visually design the contact state by partially enlarging the engagement area. Additionally, the pressure angle and curvature radius at the engagement points can be displayed in real-time.
