We provide design and manufacturing support for a backlash-free reduction mechanism using a combination of pin gears and internal tooth trochoidal gears.
The involute gear mechanism achieves a backlash-free meshing mechanism that is difficult to realize with traditional involute gears by combining pin gears and internal trochoidal gears. The design and manufacturing support software for pin gears and internal trochoidal gears allows for easy data input to modify tooth profiles and performs high-precision coordinate calculations for internal trochoidal tooth profiles through an automatic tooth profile error calculation program. You can confirm the meshing of the created gears by rotating them on the design screen, and you can visually design the contact state by partially enlarging the meshing area. Additionally, the pressure angle and radius of curvature at the meshing points can be displayed in real-time.
