Rail surface cleaning device "IKA Brush"

A rail surface cleaning device that can clean the top surface and the head side of the rail with one brush!

The "IKA Brush" is a device mounted on the rear bogie of maintenance vehicles (such as BR) that cleans mud and dust from the rail surface using a rotating brush. By tilting the brush, it can clean two areas—the top surface and the side of the rail—using a single brush. The special brush allows for the supply of cleaning water to the brush tip, enabling concentrated washing of the rail surface. Furthermore, by using an air blow at the rear of the brush to blow away the cleaning water, it prevents the reattachment of dirt.
