The thick plate double feed detector "DTC-1100K" is a detector for double feeding of thick plates to protect the press machine. The differential transformer is a displacement sensor used as a position and dimension sensor. Its structure consists of an outer cylindrical part made of three coils and a core (magnetic core: usually a round iron rod) that can move inside. An excitation current (primary voltage of the transformer) is applied to the central coil. The frequency typically used is between 1 to 10 kHz.
