The DGS series gas-lubricated mechanical seals have been specifically developed for turbo compressors. They feature a wide sealing surface and a U-shaped or V-shaped groove on the rotating ring. By adopting SiC sealing materials coated with a DLC film (diamond-like carbon), they demonstrate excellent operating characteristics even in emergencies. Not only does this enhance the efficiency of the compressor, but it also results in low operating costs, reduced power consumption, high safety during use, long seal life, minimal gas leakage, and no contamination of lubricating oil inside the machine.
