Integrated type made from aluminum machining! Lightweight with high design flexibility, it reduces the number of parts and cuts assembly labor.
At Shimin Ironworks, we have developed a technology to process the frames (structures) of "ultra-small satellites," which are expected to see increased demand in the future, by machining from aluminum blocks. The product is named 'MBF: Monobase Frame.' While "split-type" designs are common, our MBF is a "monocoque type," making it easier to reduce weight and offering greater design flexibility. With fewer components, it leads to reduced assembly labor and improved quality stability. The frame's rigidity, weight, and shape can be freely customized according to application needs, allowing us to accommodate requests such as "I don't need rigidity but want it to be lightweight" or "It can be heavy, but I want it to be durable!" **Features of MBF:** - Lightweight and high design flexibility due to monolithic construction through machining - Reduced assembly labor due to fewer components - Capable of high-quality mass production *Reference materials can be viewed via the "PDF Download" link below.*

basic information
**Background** The ultra-small artificial satellites, commonly known as CubeSats, which are produced by university laboratories and others, are now being offered opportunities for release from the Japanese Experiment Module "Kibo" on the International Space Station, and demand is expected to increase in the future. **About Ishitokutech** Our company has a design department well-versed in aluminum materials and precision machining, achieving mass production with low costs and stable quality through designs compliant with CubeSat standards. This manufacturing method, which involves machining block-shaped aluminum materials, allows for flexible adjustments to the thickness and shape of various parts through simple design changes, and it also enables the selection of shapes and materials freely, making it possible to create structures that are difficult with conventional segmented designs. **Specifications by Size** ■ MBF-1U Material: A7075-T7351 Size: 1U (approximately 100mm x 100mm x 100mm) Weight: 135g ■ MBF-3U Material: A7075-T7351 Size: 3U (approximately 100mm x 100mm x 300mm) Weight: 200g

Our company specializes in machining ADC12 through cutting. We excel at processes that "cut out" shapes from solid metal, rather than standard hole machining or contour machining. Our equipment primarily consists of Okuma machining centers, which are highly precise and suitable for prototyping. We are currently expanding new orders, focusing on our younger staff! We also sell ADC12 sheet materials and round bars.
