Despite its compact size, it is equipped with RS-232C and LAN interfaces, and implements a protocol conversion function that allows communication via IP even if the PPP protocol is not implemented on the rear terminal for modem communication. Additionally, it also includes basic router functionality, making it usable as an IoT/M2M mobile router.

The AX is available in a lineup of multi-carrier compatible models and models capable of IP incoming calls. Despite its compact size of 135 (W) × 68 (D) × 31 (H) mm, it is equipped with RS-232C and LAN interfaces, and implements modem communication functions, protocol conversion functions, as well as basic router functions, making it usable as an IoT/M2M router. To prevent communication errors due to radio wave conditions, it features a self-recovery function called "ASC (Automatic Stable Connection)" with scheduled reset settings and health monitoring, ensuring stable operation even in unmanned environments. It can be offered at a low cost while incorporating router functions (compared to our RX series).
