Single-channel isolation type 24V to 60V digital input receiver 'ISO1211'
Ideal for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and motor control digital input modules. Compliant with IEC 61131-2 Type 1, 2, and 3 characteristics. It offers a simple low-power solution compared to conventional optocoupler solutions with discrete and low-accuracy current limiting circuits, enabling the design of compact and high-density I/O modules through high-precision current limiting. It can be configured as a source or sink input without requiring field-side power. It operates within a supply voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V and supports 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V controllers. With an input withstand voltage of ±60V and reverse polarity protection, it protects the input pins even in the event of a failure, generating only a minimal amount of reverse current. Additionally, it supports data rates of up to 4Mbps, with a minimum pulse width of 150ns, allowing for high-speed operation. It is ideal for designs requiring channel-to-channel isolation. It enables a reduction in component count and board temperature compared to conventional solutions, simplifying system design. An evaluation module is also available.
