900MHz High Output Current Feedback Amplifier 'THS3491'
Provides a new level of performance for applications requiring minimal distortion at ultra-high output levels through operating frequencies exceeding 100MHz with a 100Ω load. The gain is specified at 5V/V but maintains nearly constant bandwidth and distortion over a wide gain range. An excellent slew rate of 8000V/µs delivers a 10VPP output with ultra-low distortion through a 320MHz bandwidth, even under demanding loads. Additionally, a small signal bandwidth of 900MHz provides low overshoot with rise times of less than 0.5ns for steps under 4V. The package is VQFN-16 (RGT). An 8-pin SO PowerPA (DDA) package can be used to upgrade existing designs using 'THS3091' or 'THS3095'. The 'THS3491' offers larger output amplitudes on the same ±15V power supply compared to 'THS3091' and 'THS3095'. Evaluation modules are also available.
