Low power mono audio codec with miniDSP, 'TLV320AIC3120'
A highly integrated high-performance codec with a built-in mono audio DAC/ADC. It features 24-bit mono playback/recording capabilities. It includes analog functions such as a microphone interface, headphone driver, and speaker driver. Additionally, it is equipped with a fully programmable miniDSP for digital audio processing. The digital audio data format can be programmed to support common audio standard protocols (I2S, left-justified, right-justified) in master, slave, DSP, and TDM modes. Bus boost, treble, and EQ are supported by a programmable digital signal processing block (PRB). The built-in PLL provides the high-speed clock required by the digital signal processing block. Volume levels can be controlled via pin control or register control, and audio functions are controlled through an I2C serial bus. The package is a 32-pin VQFN measuring 5mm on each side. An evaluation module is also available.
