The "TAPTITE 2000(R)" is a metal tapping fastener developed by CONTI/REMINC, particularly effective for tapless applications with diameters of M6 and above. The bolt cross-section has a trilobular shape. This design allows for easy screwing in with low torque. After screwing in, the fastener becomes resistant to loosening due to the tight fit with the mating material and the effect of spring back.
