Takasago Electric Industry has developed and commercialized a zero internal volume structure that reduces the volume of the valve chamber to zero and minimizes liquid accumulation to the extreme. This design makes it difficult for liquids to accumulate inside the valve, preventing a decrease in purity due to cross-contamination. Additionally, the cleanability has significantly improved. With the total internal volume of the valve greatly reduced, the amount of reagents and samples can be minimized. Furthermore, an elastic material called Perfluor, which has corrosion resistance equivalent to Teflon, is used for the sealing parts.
