A highly versatile LED-based light source! Create your own unique light!
Generate custom spectra with an all-in-one light source. The iQ-LED technology can reproduce various light sources in a controlled lab environment. The second generation of iQ-LED technology (iQ-LED V2) is used in many lighting devices from Image Engineering, making it possible to reproduce almost all light sources for more accurate camera characterization and calibration. **Main Features of iQ-LED V2 (Improvements and New Features from iQ-LED V1)** ■ High Irradiance Four times the irradiance of iQ-LED V1 (old version) *for standard D light source. ■ Wide Wavelength Range Spectral range extending from 380 to 820 nm. *iQ-LED-IR V2 (IR type) ranges from 380 to 1,050 nm. ■ Standalone Functionality Light sources and sequences can be registered in the iQ-LED V2 device itself, allowing direct selection of registered light sources and sequences from the device. → Standalone operation is possible without a PC. ■ Applicability in Production Lines Equipped with advanced hardware features suitable for use in production lines.

At Trioptics Japan, we serve as the exclusive distributor in Japan for Image Engineering (IE), a global leader in camera image quality evaluation. We offer a range of products including light sources, charts, and software for image quality assessment, as well as evaluation solutions and measurement services. IE participates in the development of standards in international committees related to image quality, such as ISO/TC42 and IEEE-P2020 (a working group for establishing image quality standards for automotive applications), and many of IE's products and solutions comply with international standards. At our Yokohama office, we have established a lab equipped with a darkroom environment, where we permanently showcase demo equipment including various light sources, charts, and analysis software from IE. We introduce and propose products and solutions for camera image quality performance evaluation in accordance with international standards, and for customers considering purchases, we can conduct a series of demo measurements from image capture to analysis. Additionally, we provide image quality performance measurement services using IE products, conducting evaluations of image performance metrics for camera modules across various industries, including automotive cameras, digital cameras, security cameras, and medical endoscope cameras.
