The thickness of the lead wires used in Takasago is represented according to the type of lead wire, either in American Wire Gauge (AWG) or in cross-sectional area. AWG notation is widely used to indicate the thickness of conductors. A diameter of 0.46 inches is defined as 0000 AWG or 4/0 AWG, and a diameter of 0.005 inches is defined as 36 AWG. By dividing these sizes in a geometric progression, 40 sizes from 4/0 to 36 AWG are established. Additionally, the cross-sectional area is expressed in mm².
