By safely and systematically performing setup work on the portal-type 5-sided machining center, we aim to improve productivity and standardize the setup process!
To improve the cutting operating rate of the gantry-type five-sided machining center, instead of performing setup tasks such as workpiece positioning on the machine's table, these tasks will be carried out in advance on a pallet designated for external setup. The operator will then use a crane to position and place the pallet with the workpiece onto the table of the gantry-type five-sided machining center. This will reduce the machine downtime due to setup from an average of 1-3 hours to approximately 10 minutes, thereby enhancing production efficiency and reducing costs.

The product consists of two cast iron pallets that fit the table size of the gate-type five-sided machining center being used. (1) Pallet Size The top surface (effective area) is based on the machine table size, with a width direction of +100mm and a length direction of ±0mm. (2) Compatible Sizes (Machine Table Size) 2,000 x 3,000, 2,000 x 4,000, 2,000 x 5,000, 2,500 x 4,000, 2,500 x 5,000, 3,000 x 5,000 (the standard height is 200mm for all). (Other sizes can be discussed.) (3) Pallet Top Surface Specifications T-slots: Will match the specifications of the machine's table. (4) Pallet Positioning Utilizes the T-slots and end faces of the machine table. (No additional work required) (5) Pallet Fixing (Clamping) Method Can be clamped using T-slot nuts and bolts. (6) Lifting Wire Hook Fittings Wire hook fittings are inserted into the holes on the sides of the pallet (two on each side), and wires are hung there to lift with a crane.
