Shape estimation survey using φ86mm or φ116mm boreholes.
At Monitoring Service Co., Ltd., we conduct a "Borehole Sonar" that estimates the shape of the foundation of cast-in-place piles and precast piles by reading reflections from the boundary with the ground. Basically, it is the same as an IT test, where a measuring device (sonde) is inserted into the boring hole provided in the pile, and an artificial impact is applied horizontally to generate elastic waves. It can also be applied to ground improvement columns. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
