We would like to introduce a product case of "Gear Groove Phase Gauge for Automotive Gear Products" from Ito Precision Tool Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This is a custom gauge designed and manufactured according to customer requirements, used to measure gears for transmissions in the automotive industry. The request was to measure the groove phase of external teeth based on the internal tooth groove reference, replacing the previous method that used a dial gauge. In response, we designed and manufactured a gauge as shown in the photo. It is designed to ensure that the measuring element on the chuck side operates even with variations in the gears, allowing for a reliable reference.
