Durable and long-lasting due to the use of Kevlar! It performs well in harsh environments such as steel, ships, high-pressure presses, and extruders.
The "CARCO Seal" is a product from CARCO, which provides high-quality radial shaft seals (oil seals) and V-packings used in harsh environments. It is widely adopted in various fields, both domestically and internationally, including steelmaking, shipping, high-pressure presses, and extruders. The use of "Kevlar" in the reinforced fabric of the sealing ring makes it resistant to damage and ensures a long lifespan. Additionally, it is delivered in pre-adjusted dimensions, eliminating the need for length adjustment (trimming) during seal installation! This allows for smooth delivery operations without relying on the skill level of trimming. We offer a lineup that caters to various applications. Please feel free to consult with us. 【Features】 - Long lifespan (high durability) - No trimming (excess length management) required during installation - Teflon coating prevents stick-slip - Short delivery time (1.5 months or less) - Facilitates seal assembly and reduces replacement time *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us. *The downloadable PDF is in English. Detailed information
-
CARCOTEX - The intermediate ring (V-packing) is delivered in pre-adjusted dimensions, so no length adjustment (trimming) is necessary during seal assembly. (It has been processed to prevent expansion and contraction even after long-term storage.) - Since Kevlar is used in the reinforced fabric of the female ring, an extended lifespan can be expected even if there is a large gap (extrusion gap) between the cylinder and the housing.
-
CARCOSEAL (UN) PTFE coating on the seal surface (standard) Benefits of "CARCOFON" PTFE - Reduced friction - Prevention of sticking during long-term equipment shutdowns - Protection of the lip area when there is no oil film - To extend the lifespan of the seal, a larger seal is compressed for use. - The garter spring ensures even contact with the shaft. - Increasing the contact area helps prevent oil leakage, reduce contact pressure, decrease heat generation, and prevent shaft wear.
-
Features of CARCOSEAL (Installation) It is made larger than usual and secures the seal through compression. This enables a longer lifespan for the seal.

Teflon® Packing and Seal Teflon seals (packing and gaskets) refer to sealing components made primarily from fluororesin. Their performance is excellent in heat and cold resistance, and they are not affected by various fluids (liquids and gases), including general chemical agents and solvents, allowing them to be used under harsh conditions from vacuum to high pressure. Additionally, their non-stick and low-friction properties make them suitable for dynamic applications, and their ability to be used as seals for extended periods is one of their significant features. However, they are prone to wear and can easily deform (creep) under high temperature and high pressure, so it is common to fill them with materials such as fiberglass, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and carbon fiber to mitigate these effects. In design, attention is needed regarding the structure of the device, surface treatment and hardening of sliding parts, and the structure and material selection of the seal (packing and gasket). Particularly, selecting seals requires extensive knowledge and experience. Please feel free to consult us when considering your options.
