The buildings, equipment, and devices in the factory are converted into ultra-lightweight 3D data called XVL, allowing for simulations of equipment placement and wiring between devices. Furthermore, the connection relationships are converted into electrical CAD data, streamlining maintenance and inspections. This service is provided by Zuken's "Factory Digital Twin." For the XVL conversion of structures, it is possible to merge point cloud data captured by a 3D laser scanner, BIM data used in the construction industry, or 3D-CAD data utilized in equipment design onto the XVL platform. In the visualized XVL factory, it also becomes possible to simulate the transportation routes for new equipment, allowing for the examination of the loading and unloading processes during actual construction.
