● Durable Jaws The design has been reviewed, and the strength of the jaws (current sensor part) has been improved. The number of open/close cycles has significantly increased from the previous 10,000 times to a guaranteed 30,000 times, allowing for longer use. ● Clamp Open/Close Test The clamp opens and closes at a speed of 1 time per second for a specified number of repetitions. Additionally, tests are conducted until failure to assess performance. This enhances robustness. ● Expanded Operating Temperature Range of -25℃ to +65℃ The operating temperature range has been significantly widened from the previous 0℃ to 40℃. It can be used in sub-zero temperatures and extreme heat during summer days. ● Temperature Testing Long-term operation checks and verification of normal measurement capabilities are conducted within the specified temperature range. ● Dust and Water Resistance International Protection Rating: IP54* *The jaws (current sensor part) are rated IP50. It maintains measurement functionality even when exposed to dust such as sand and dirt, or water droplets. <Note> Water resistance is designed to maintain measurement functionality when wet; however, wetting the device or measuring live electrical parts with wet hands increases the risk of electric shock. ● Dust and Water Resistance Testing Dust tests are conducted by applying reduced pressure and introducing dust, while water tests are performed by spraying water from various directions. This examines the degree of dust and water intrusion.
