The 3D-LiDAR sensor developed by SICK, using the multi-layer scanner MRS1000, detects and measures objects in multiple dimensions with high reliability and accuracy at an early stage. By collecting a large amount of data from multiple scanning positions and different angles, it can detect both objects placed on the floor and those protruding in aisles, responding appropriately. The MRS1000 demonstrates high robustness even in adverse environmental conditions such as rain, dust, and fog. The new method HDDM+, which includes multi-echo evaluation, ensures reliable detection of objects and guarantees accurate measurement results.
