This is an introduction to a case where changing the heat treatment of leaf springs to "salt quenching" successfully reduced distortion. 【Consultation Details】 We want to perform quenching on leaf springs that cannot be corrected for distortion, aiming for minimal distortion. 【Solution Case】 We proposed changing the quenching method from oil quenching to the less-distorting "salt quenching." We succeeded in reducing the distortion after quenching.
