The GND grooving/cutting system from MAS Corporation was developed based on the requests of users who actually use the Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal grooving chip GND type (for external diameter processing). By simply swapping the holder and connecting the coolant hose, you can process the GND type insert with internal lubrication specifications.

Available in three groove depths and five groove widths. - Shank sizes: Cassette exchange type: 20x20, 25x25 Integrated type: 16x16, 20x20 (available for groove depths of 12 to 22mm) - By discharging coolant at the cutting edge, optimization of chips and reduction of cutting edge wear can be expected. Cassette exchange type: coolant is discharged from the rake face Integrated type: coolant is discharged from the rake face.
